@justine i have not used an openbsd workstation since the early aughts, but i have contributed to that project and i am tremendously proud of myself for that 🤦😂 i believe openbsd was the first unix to offer antialiased text in a browser (even if it *was* `Konqueror` 😆)

i always (almost always) used ion or xmonad and WindowMaker/GNUStep.

if i have to pick in a hurry wmaker is easy to understand and appealing (provided you liked OpenStep/NeXT)
