@stux this is my first time hearing of #Koel. It looks pretty stunning though. Maybe I'll have to give it a shot sometime! Currently I stick to #jellyfin and #finamp.

Also, yep, Spotify is horrible. I was using my family's subscription but recently moved off it because of many reasons. I thought their continued support of Joe Rogan + paying so little was enough, but this is just another reason to not look back.

I remember trying to use Spotify for podcasts, but the UX is vastly inferior to the FOSS alternatives (+ a big feature of podcasts are that they are just RSS) and you still get ads as a paying subscriber. Shit platform overall.
