What do you do when coming across 1000+ character posts?

(This includes entire blog articles from WriteFreely, WordPress etc.)

@pixelcode@social.tchncs.de Until now, one of the achievements was that everyone could find and use their own publication type for their contributions.
Unfortunately, this is changing with users who have no idea what the Fediverse actually is and reduce everything to Mastodon.
That is a great pity
