Föderation EN Mi 21.08.2024 07:02:42 I have the Vivaldi (desktop) panel set to auto hide, but it appears random whether the panel switching bar hides with the panel or not (I prefer it hiding, but I'm sure there are others who prefer it not to). It has always been like that, and I would expect that if it was a bug, it would have been fixed long ago. So I'm wondering if I'm missing something? How is it supposed to work? What controls if the panel switcher hides with the panel or not? I can't find a setting for it, but a setting wouldn't appear random either, so I suspect there is some control logic that just doesn't make sense to me? Maybe there should be a setting with three options, always hide, never hide or whatever controls the current behavior, assuming it's intentional. |
Föderation EN Mi 21.08.2024 13:12:55 @leeloo Can you tell me how you open, close and switch Panels? With mouse clicks or gestures or with Keyboard Shortcuts? |
Föderation EN Mi 21.08.2024 13:15:56 @Vivaldi Gestures are turned off, in case that makes a difference. |
Föderation EN Fr 30.08.2024 13:29:45 Hey @ @leeloo! Sorry for the late reply. If you want to check just one panel, I would recommend using each panel's own shortcut. Then when focusing elsewhere the panel bar hides together with the panel. You can view and update the shortcuts in Settings > Keyboard > View. Unfortunately, as soon as you switch panels, the panel bar will no longer autohide. |

Föderation EN Fr 30.08.2024 16:29:05 @leeloo That's intentional. |
Föderation EN Mo 02.09.2024 20:41:07 @Vivaldi Now I just have a gray bar, I guess I can get rid of that with custom CSS. |
