I imagine @mekkaokereke and @molly0xfff also deal with massive amounts of bots and other nonsense and can speak (publicly or privately) about their experiences with the mods on Hachyderm. |

Both were within a few weeks of each other, and were the same Japanese instance auto-generating new accounts that disappeared very quickly. |

So because they're focused on a single server they don't really affect other servers. We also tend to have some custom anti-spam scripts running, which massively cuts down on noise. |
