Testing out @Tuba 0.9.2 I just installed on my Gentoo machine. Looks good!

Some immediate thoughts:
- I can plan posts! Wow, that's such a useful feature.
- Dark mode really looks nice. It's a clean GNOME interface.
- I can even select my custom emojis!
- No text formatting whatsoever, sad :(

This is the most nail on the head version of this meme I've seen.

Question: I've been wanting to setup a filter for pictures without alt text for a while now. I'm not sharing them anyway (no alt text = no share) and it probably saves on my server space.

Is this possible?

This week I moved this instance to my own server and left @mastohost after almost two years of service with him.

Let me take my hat off to Hugo: he's providing a vital part of infrastructure that makes Mastodon and, in turn, the wider fediverse!

Why leave? Mastohost is meant as a simple starting point for anyone new to Mastodon. I've been wanting to do more for a while now.

My app is crashing when replying to people. Running 1.10.38. Known issue?

@IceCubesApp maybe it’s my fat fingers, but in the latest updates I quite often get misclicks (taps?) when trying to like or share a post. Am I the only one?

Mastodon admins, @rolle @stux, others: I have a question.

I'm setting up a new server and do this manually as opposed to hosting it this time around. Everything works fine, except for search.

I just seem to 'miss' something in the documentation and can't get ElasticSearch to work. Who has some great how to's available, like videos or blogs, that explain it for numbs like me? 😅
