· Föderation EN So 28.01.2024 19:58:37 I'm not sure what you are using to access Mastodon, but if you click on an account link in a Mastodon post (such as @FediFollows) it should just take you to that account's profile page entirely within your own Mastodon server. You can click on the follow button there etc. Do you mean the links on the website https://fedi.directory? Links to the Fediverse from outside the Fediverse do open an account's own original page. Your browser has no way of knowing what else to do with it? |

Someone else pointed out (correctly) that if I click on the follow link on another instance I get a popup where I can put in the name of my own instance, which then opens and I can do my follow. Works well. Thanks! |
