@Vivaldi hi! Is sync down at the moment? Tried to log in with iPhone and iPad but both saying sync server is experiencing issues and neither prompting for my encryption password

@stux Greetings! We're looking at getting the cat rescue charity account I help run posting again, @bcwrkittens . For a couple of reasons I'd like to move the profile to mstdn social but wanted to check with you first if you're ok with a profile that among updates does post asking for donations from supporters as well - while not really "advertising" I appreciate some instance admins would prefer not to host folk asking for money / donations 😊

There’s been attempts to get new Retro gaming forums going, but ultimately I think they struggle because it’s _another_ login to make & monitor etc..

So I propose this: a #RetroGaming email discussion list!

No new usernames or passwords required, no new places to monitor for goings on, it’s all in what you already have.

I did check out Nostr a while back. It was all cryptobros and rather unwelcoming behaviour. Can’t say as I’ll be going back there, all the more so if this is their attitude
