@franksting @HeathC @ivory yes, I'm on 15.4.1. That said, you seem to experience a set of macOS issues from time to time that I never see. I put this down to the difference in whatever the mix of software and hardware we run is.

@trib @HeathC @ivory It just happened again after I wrote that last post. As there's no crash log being recorded, I have no idea what might be causing it. It's just sitting in the background and when I go to switch it's gone.

@franksting @HeathC @ivory so no “Ivory crashed. Do you want to send this?” window? That seems like a problem.

Föderation EN Mo 19.05.2025 07:39:14

@trib @HeathC @ivory nothing, no evidence of anything happening anywhere. Other than the app is no longer running and I didn’t quit it.
Safe to say you don't see the same issue? What mac is yours running on?

Föderation EN Mo 19.05.2025 07:41:40

@franksting @HeathC @ivory I'm on a stock 2019 MBP (4 Thunderbolt ports version). Ivory definitely not crashing for me.

@franksting @trib @HeathC This is a recent Mac OS bug. It's happening with a lot of catalyst apps. There's been reports that the very latest OS update resolves this issue, but we haven't tested it yet.

@ivory @trib @HeathC thanks for the reply. Do you know why there’s no crash logs in the console?

Föderation EN Di 20.05.2025 00:06:40

@franksting @trib @HeathC Because the apps aren't crashing. The OS is just closing them for whatever reason.

Föderation EN Mo 19.05.2025 07:52:01

@trib @franksting @HeathC @ivory I usually use a browser, but as an experiment I’ll install the app tonight. If it’s going to crash, it will be on my computer - 2013 Mac Pro with OpenCore and macOS 15.5.

Föderation EN Mo 19.05.2025 07:55:52

@nygl @trib @HeathC @ivory I suspect it’s running out of memory, but I'm surprised there's no evidence of that

Föderation EN Mo 19.05.2025 10:03:42

@franksting @trib @HeathC Right, testing has commenced! Ivory v2.3.4 installed and loaded.
