@evan I’ve been working on this app for a few years (only since this last February at full pace, though) and for whatever reason the existing source material on AP was bouncing off some weird aphasia in my brain or something. I couldn’t seem to grok.

So when you said you had a book coming out I decided to put ActivtyPub as a feature on the back burner until I got to crack it open.

Anyway so yeah, once it released I read it. And now it all makes sense to me to enough of an extent that it’s weird to think I had trouble getting it before. Probably chalk it up to impatience I guess.

The app has been up and running with users and everything for a couple of months now (can send an invite link if you’re curious), and my dev environment has ActivityStreams 2 and an apparently functioning but quite stubby S2S API as of this week. I may have the live server partially federating before January. Or at least attempting to.
