Have been playing recently with wordpress activitypub, friends, enable mastodon apps and event bridge for activitypub plugins ... getting very close now to use wordpress as my fediverse server !

After I published a recent article where I showed how to mitigate an accidental DDoS after enabling ActivityPub for WordPress with the Surge plugin, I found an optimization for improved cache handling. Out of the box, there’s a problem with the default configuration since Surge ignores the Accept header.

@sean @sturmsucht I see your problems, but do not understand the comparison with Ghost. Ghost does not even have a Mastodon API built in! So the critique of having to use three plugins is fair, but comparing them with a tool that does not even have it?
