So, I was under the impression that all Chrome-based browsers still 'called home' to Google from time to time - is this true of Chromium based browsers as well? Does Vivaldi share any information with Google?

In short Chromium (the browser) yes, but for other Chromium-based browsers, it might not be the case

Anyone any better source?
