@artcollisions i'm a bit sarcastic, but yes, i believe that FOMO is certainly one of the driving forces behind the feature set – it's obvious that years of users asking for things to be implemented, or even providing their own implementation to be included, was not enough.

and don't get me wrong, i'm all for it – if i can't get something implemented for the right reason, i'm perfectly fine with it being implemented for fear of users moving to other services.

whatever gets the job done.
