Föderation EN Do 10.04.2025 23:40:47 LibreOffice Writer seems to struggle on Windows since the couple of few weeks. Whenever I hover on menus or content navigator in Writer, the screen goes black for a few seconds. No other application has this issue. Anyone else noticing this? Wondering if it's a Windows bug, a LibreOffice bug or AMD graphics bug... @libreoffice #LibreOffice #windows #amd |
Föderation EN Mi 13.11.2024 22:59:45 @Vivaldi Since the latest patch there is a bug in the URL & search bar. Is there a way to stop #Vivaldi from suggesting Norton as a "Direct Match" whenever I type "no" in my URL or search bar, regardless of the search engine I'm using and regardless of the fact that I have never bookmarked or even visited that website, and regardless of "no" being, in fact, not a Direct Match? Looking at https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/99431/bug-strange-search-suggestion-blocks-me-searching/13 , this seems to be a recurring bug - assuming it's not Vivaldi pushing ads. Medien: 1 |
Föderation EN Fr 29.12.2023 18:46:16 #Mozilla asks for donations to reach half of their CEO's yearly salary, while people are getting laid off. Seems to me that the solution is simple. [edit] Okay, this has gotten a lot of buzz, and I'm happy people respectfully weighed in with arguments and counterarguments. I'm not giving up on #Mozilla and #FireFox, nor on other initiatives for a better web. I am, however, going to be muting this now. Medien: 1 |
Föderation · So 11.06.2023 10:01:22 Since the latest update of @Vivaldi , it seems browserhistory based autocompletion is slower? Where I'm used to typing part of a URL and relying on Vivaldi to just complete it, I now end up in a search for that part. Example: Typing 'link' + enter would go to LinkedIn reliably as there'd be no noticable wait time for completion to kick in. Now I need to wait a second or I'll be searching for `link'. Is this performance degradation or is it an intentional UX consideration (or is it just me)? |
Föderation NL Mo 19.12.2022 01:48:48 So this is pretty awesome: @paul managed to get an #ActivityPub based blog going using #Hugo, #Vercel and #Firebase It's nice to read how the protocols, that #mastodon is also built on, play their part. Quite educational stuff. Can't have been easy! https://paul.kinlan.me/adding-activity-pub-to-your-static-site/ |
