There is actually a project - ActivityPods - that aims to do just this (there was a recent interview with @laurin about it on Fireside Fedi https://audio.firesidefedi.live/@firesidefedi/posts/2fcb538e-b371-497c-9201-ebde369b36a7). For example, there's a project MastoPod that is sort-of, Mastodon with your data stored in your own Solid pod. So there are some connections / alignments here. Privacy, opt-in centric.
