I do post about other platforms, for example I've often featured BookWyrm, PeerTube, OwnCast, Pixelfed etc.

But by far the majority of questions I get from new people are from Mastodon users. Other platforms tend to have techy users who don't need my help.

I am very worried by this situation, it would be much better if new people were entering the Fediverse on a wide variety of platforms. However, at the moment it seems Mastodon is the only one that is chosen by new people.
