@malcircuit people have been trying to make money in the most egregious ways since the dawn of humanity. What's I find most disconcerting about the data collection business model is that most people don't care, or they're OK with it if it means they get something for free. And in North America especially, governments just turn a blind eye (or get paid to look the other way, aka lobbying) to what is a crime if a person does the same thing (stalking).
