(Second click always works.) — Nerd Zone — So it ends up taking me to the page for http://www.youtube.com/@彁 — with 彁 being an infamous “ghost character” in Unicode, a nonexistent accidental character. See: https://www.dampfkraft.com/ghost-characters.html What would make it land on this particular page? One of you will crack this I bet… Medien: 1 |

Personally I have zero issues with any youtube link toot on my instance even from remotes, across all clients I've tried (masto web, ivory, mona). But some other folks I know on other instances are seeing same issue as above here and they're using other clients too. Is it an instance/host issue? Masto/protocol issue? Indeed somehow a client thing? Youtube messing their API up? |

If I then tap the Open button to open it in the YouTube app I get to the “ghost character” page. Seems that “undefined” is the legacy username for that page, but it is only supported still in the app? |
