Föderation EN Fr 25.04.2025 15:31:15 absolutely. fedi developed with a very heavy moderation culture and that needs to end for it to reach its potential as a public square. because there are no algos or ads, people won't see misinfo or mean junk unless they follow somebody who posts or boosts it. unless they get tagged with it, so we should go hard on unwanted tagging. that's harassment. but if we only moderate for that instead of all the stuff many servers do now, we can have those necessary conversations. |
