I cant help think of the countless times , in movies, politics and social media America has told the world to stand up to bullies, to live in peace, protect human rights, to depose of dictators and to value democracy as a road to liberty and autonomy.... a lot of talking the talk... now its time to walk the walk.

@Strandjunker In 1933, the oligarchs in the US supported Hitler, just like they support fascism today. We need a lot more Communists/Anarchists if we want to nip this in the bud, and the US Gov has done a good job of crushing all worker movements for more than a century. The rest of the world can hope for the best, but should prepare for the worst.

Politicians always promise the gold and peasants never find it.
People at some point get tired of all the promises and will go after the extremes. And politicians are poorly educated, most of them didn't came from the peasant world.
We saw that in the past we see this on the present.
If politicians don't change, we will sooner or later fall in the errors of the past.

If I want to actually enact the change I wish those citizens could have did, I'd have to completely switch coasts to do so, and that's expensive.
