I need to voice my objection or disagreement so that I can live with myself. I've been asked why I continue a discussion when I'm clearly not going to change their mind. Because in a public discourse, I know others are reading. I'm presenting my ideas to them, in case they're open to them. I've learned a lot that way watching others' discussions. |
