I really hate this & try to recognize when Im doing it. I try to remember that this is some kind of generational bullshit lie not only my father, but his father & the father before him put into my family line as some sort of empowering caveat to their incredible impoverished life. Someone was less than they & it should never be forgotten.

I hate this part of being white.
