We try to stay on top of the IP addresses and e-mail domains they use, but it's a cat and mouse game. I apologize for the inconvenience caused. |

There's also those outfits that outsource account creation to sweatshops and troll farms in the developing world. Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if at some point we'll see bot screening measures like "Select all squares that exemplify the nagging worry that you're unworthy of love and that if anyone looked behind your carefully crafted facade they'd run screaming." |

New feature idea: add filtering-like capability to enable “request to follow” gate. Additional useful filter types: age of account, number of posts, followers etc Separately implement similar filter flow to automatically reject “request to follow” |

Requests to follow should have an expiration date, so community influencers like Laffy don’t have to comb through hundreads of bots. The requests she ignores in 10, 20 or 30 days will simply get rejected. I understand your pain Laffy you are the target of these bot because you have a ton of followers and every post of yours is widely commented and shared. |
