@r3vilo @signalapp No, not really. F-Droid's mission is focused on FOSS apps only, and Signal still depends on proprietary Google libraries. The banner should explain that it comes from the "Guardian Project Repo", do we need to make that clearer?

@fdroidorg @signalapp No that is and was clear from the beginning. The picture explains that it's in an external Repo, but now people have an option to download it over F-Droid store instead of Aurora or direct apk.

@r3vilo We recommend to write it like "signalapp is now official in an repo", as we've seen many users thinking that the app was included in the main FOSS F-Droid repo. 😉
