For the most part, everyone else just doesn't get back to me. There might be some other outlets, but I don't have any way of knowing who is up for it and who isn't. They don't tell you when you're canceled, they just don't get back to you, or at best someone drops you a hint in some non-recorded medium. |

I get some nominal support from Patreon, I try to find work where I can, and do some contribution on a well-supported OSS suite of tools and me and my partner invented, and are funded by the org he used to worked for. |

I'm trying to make it for myself, but it's incredibly difficult, and I'm fighting with pretty severe health problems at the same time. I really miss having an editor and a boss and even a news room to mostly avoid. But it's not a situation I can control or change, especially during the slow death of journalism itself. So I try to do what I can with the tools I have access too. |
