We discussed this issue in the last. It's really a painpoint for me NOT to use the on my machine(s) in favor of using instead 🤷🏻‍♂️

@abimelechbeutelbilch @viktor @nextcloud FWIW I think for your use case rclone to a NC server should be a fine choice with full systemd support. Did you consider that?

I'm using instead - that's totally fine for my usecase and works n:m, not only 1:1, so I can spread the workload over many systems or replicate to more than only one server 👍
